The welcoming nature from current students towards new students is beyond impressive and to be kind and respectful and inclusive is infused in every layer of Landon's morals and culture. From attending mom's association meetings, to volunteering at the many events and opportunities to be on campus, I make a new friend I every time I get involved as well. There is a a fun and amazing energy within the demands in the lessons in classroom and on the fields. The spirit of a brotherhood and being "stronger together" is the culture at Landon. There is something for everyone and the boys are involved in everything. I was bullied for most of the year and experienced racism towards me and my family .
If you go there, make sure you do not make any mistakes, otherwise you will be kicked out. They do not care about the kids there, just about their public relations, which are already awful anyway. If you get caught up in something you did not do they also take away your student council and force you to skip your championship sport. They destroyed my family and I don't recommend this awful place to any poor family. Administration is horrendous as well with their meetings to flush kids down the toilet.

Few months back, We signed a purchase agreement with Landon homes in North Texas and construction supposed to start soon. At the time of purchasing the home, the home price is ~$20K more than what is quoted 2 weeks before. When inquired, Landon homes sales rep mentioned that Landon Team reviews various parameters like increasing lumber cost, labor cost etc., and revises home prices weekly. If we dont sign the purchase agreement on that day, sale price is not guaranteed anymore. Accordingly we went ahead, made down payment and completed purchase agreement.
The leadership and faculty were in constant communication about the protocols they were employing to enable the boys to attend in person classes safely. Parents had the option of keeping their kids in virtual learning if they had concerns. Online classes were all Landon faculty led and not canned work book courses. We believe that our son has continued to get the highest caliber education in spite of the challenging circumstances and in addition, has maintained strong friendships with his classmates.
Corporate Customer Support:
The quality is bad and Sales & Construction team don't have empathy for customers. Lot of unfinished items at the time of closing . The sales team (James & Ashley) were nice till contract is signed and were rude when mistakes were shown and they threatened to revoke the contract when mistakes were shown. Construction team is so bad project manager Scott talks nicely when we meet an does NOTHING to rectify. They promised to fix most of items after closing and even after 4.5 months still more than 25 items are pending.
When they miss something per Design Spec, they say it can't be done that way and when we point there was a mistake in Design Spec by Design Center or IES, they say it is as per Design. Escalated 5 major issues to John Svajda, VP and expected him to get them resolved and it is also of no use. He wasted my time to dig of all old communications to send supporting documents and no response from him once we sent them. I waited patiently for 4 months expecting John will get them fixed and no use.

If I am wrong and prices stabilize, I will buy from some other reputed builder, who honor their Sale agreement and I can rely on their quality. If in doubt, read your sale agreement termination clause. It clearly says "Seller can terminate it for any reason before closure and all arbitration is through mediation. If you engage an attorney, you have to pay Seller's attorney fee too".

In talking with other builders that we partner with this is consistent with the home building industry.
Makes builders create variance to make them look good and builder bonus to fail. Lack of take offs creates build time delays and unhappy customers. I dont understand why they didnt placed raw material orders for my home after finalizing sales agreement. Especially considering increasing lumber prices, this is a very poor execution from Landon. I even paid 50% of my design galley upgrades.
